And It All Began…

Camp Tanda was established in 1947 by a group of Christian men and women who were members of the Churches of Christ with the idea of bringing people together to worship God. Since that time the camp has been used by many non-profit groups such as schools, scouts, church organizations, as well as family reunions making thousands of unforgettable memories.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve the Kingdom by creating the opportunity for believers to have a space to connect with and build a deeper relationship with God.

The camp is overseen by a Board of Directors which is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable place where people can come together for recreation, fellowship, and worship in a peaceful and special environment where God's amazing natural beauty is on display.

We've been making memories for over 70 years, by changing and touching families lives, especially impacting children in a positive and Godly way every year during our Summer Camps.

From small families renting a cabin to stay for a weekend, to church, scout and school groups renting the whole camp for a week, we are here to serve and provide our guests a memorable stay in a family safe environment, centered on God.
